Eastside Theater Company announces Tech Applications for “The Wizard of Oz”

If you are interested in working behind the scenes in theater, consider applying for tech for this production.

The Wizard of Oz is our March 2026 Production. The Artistic Team for this production is:

Jess Sheppard - Director

McKaylah Crowne - Assistant Director

Keturah McFarland - Musical Director

Noah Feldmann-Parks - Stage Manager

Anna Grayce - Choreographer

Isaiah Johnson - Technical Director

Anna Anderson - Costumer

Our Schedule is as follows:

Rehearsals: December 1, 2025 - February 26, 2026

Production Dates: February 27 - March 8, 2026

Rehearsal Days: Monday / Tuesday / Thursday 6-9:00pm

This will increase as we get closer to production dates.

Production Dates & Times:

Friday February 27th 7pm

Saturday February 28th 1&7pm

Sunday March 1st 4pm

Friday March 6th 7pm

Saturday March 7th 1&7pm

Sunday March 8th 4pm

No Conflict Zone: February 9th - March 9th, 2026. Only graded school events, illness or emergencies will be considered excused absences. Other absences (such as vacations, or other events) are not excused and may result in being removed from the production.

All meetings, rehearsals, and productions are held at our location at Springwater Church in Gresham. 3445 SE Hillyard Rd.

We welcome students without previous theater experience.

We are accepting applications for those 12+. You must be 12 at the time of your application.

You MUST be available for the following dates:
No-Conflict Zone: Feb 9th - Mar 9th, 2026
Tech Rehearsals: Sat Feb 21st 2026 & Sun Feb 22nd 2026
Production Dates, Pick-Up Rehearsal: Feb 27th - Mar 8th, 2026

Participation Fee & Show Information

There is a $50 tech tuition fee to participate in this production
Please note that it is the policy of Eastside Theater to never turn away a student based on ability to pay. Please do not let that be a barrier to participating. We also offer payment plans and partial scholarships. Please talk to the Production Management Team for more information about this.
